Hey, my name is Samuel Guzman.
I was born and raised in South Texas. My intrest in film and photo started while watching old music videos on VHS tapes and picturing visuals to songs while looking out the window on my drives to school.
I attended The University of Texas at Austin, and although my time was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was able to graduate with experience in the editing bay and on student films. I spent a semester in the UTLA (University of Texas-Los Angeles) program where I gained plenty of industry knowledge through my internships with STURDY.co and Blue Duck Media; with a focus in film production and editing in sports and music.
Right now I’m the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball club's Videographer and Editor, which means I shoot, edit, and market all the pretty looking footage (and sometimes photos) on their social media channels
I’m open to any extra commercial or passion opportunities that allign with my values, skillset, and schedule.
